So I've played and captured Drezen again, but during that siege I had to choose my mythic path, while not having unlocked the golden dragon one. I have terendel's claw, but I can't find the storyteller to give him the claw. I assumed I would find him after Drezen, but now I've paused since I've had to choose my mythic path already.

Nope. Gold Dragon is a late mythic path which will become available only in act 5. Before that you have to pick another mythic path. Storyteller relocates to Drezen after you have done the hunt for the red dragon with Greybor in act 3. Once you have shown him the claw, you get a new location revealed where you will meet Hal.And how are these spells on their own? (Or empowered by G. Dragon higher dice, etc) Without Lich's special abilities and high CL? I did two full playthroughs with Azata Arcane Trickster Sorc (very OP) and Trickster Kineticist with 1 Thug dip sneak attacking with Blue Flame Kinetic Blade (also quite powerful and with lots of fun utilities, powers and quirks). Imo azata was taken in a wrong direction as a chaotic good path. Demon hordes are attacking, people are eating each other alive, sky is raining either blood or eyeballs and here you are singing songs, playing flute and sculpting. Not sure. The Gold Dragon mythic path is LG, NG, and CG, but picking it shifted me from LE to NG. I doubt you would lose your powers if you changed alignments, but the quest line is about doing some good deeds. I doubt you'd get the Gold Dragon transformation at Mythic 9 if you did the opposite of what the quest wanted.If you do lose eveything a good thing about the trickster is that perception 2 trick unlock the improved improved critical feats, so if you take those before going into golden dragon, you wouldn't lose them since they are not technicaly part of the mythic path. Honestly any melee and Demon feels fantastic, I know technically it's in the bottom tier for paths. But thematically I love it. Demonic charge plus greater mythic vital strike and cleaving finish makes the enemy backrow quake.
